MyAppRisk was built to help founders, vibe coders, AI automation builders, and small SaaS teams find security risks before launching apps, agents, or workflows with real users and real data.
I'm Kelvin Medina, a security engineer with experience in application security, threat modeling, secure design reviews, privacy reviews, cloud security, and large-scale security review programs.
My background includes security roles at organizations such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Trustwave, the University of Miami, and the U.S. Department of the Navy. It includes building and scaling security review programs, reviewing application architectures and code, assessing privacy and compliance risks, and helping teams catch issues earlier in the software development lifecycle.
Before that, I worked as an application security consultant, performing penetration testing, source-code reviews, secure development assessments, and payment security work.
